Sirimon route is an easy pace access to mt kenya on the northern side of the mountain.Its a bit dry and obviously quick to get to lenana.

This itinerary offers a swift traverse of mount kenya from the north to the west side.Its a good opportunity to see the distinctive aspect of the mountain topographical features as well as the rich flora and fauna

DAY 1: Departure from Nairobi is at 0930 hrs to Nanyuki(2100m) via the equitor for dinner and overnight in the hotel as an initial acclamatization.

DAY 2: After breakfast transfer by vehicle to the Sirimon gate and hike 3-4hrs to Old Moses camp (3300m) for overnight.

DAY 3: Trek up via the moorland to Shipton camp (4250m) for overnight (5 to 6 hrs hike).Lunch is picnic enroute

DAY 4: Attempt point Lenana at 0300 hrs in the morning arriving in time for the sunrise.Descend leisurely to Met Station (3048m) for dinner
and overnight.

DAY 5: After breakfast,walk downward to Naro Moru gate 2400m.Connect a waiting vehicle to Nairobi where the trip ends.
