Mt Kenya is traditionally a sacred mountain as communities living around it  believed it is the dwelling place of their Gods. They would usually pray facing the mountain.There are three main trail routes to access the peaks area and several other adventure routes coming up.
Mount Kenya (5199metres) is Africa's second largest mountain after Kilimanjaro(5896 metres).It has a unique topographic features of stretching valleys with some individual peaks standing on the different ridges.Its three main peaks are Batian (5199m),Nelion(5188m) and Lenana (4985m) which happens to the trekkers peak.This give it a jagged impression unlike Kilimanjaro which is just a massive dome with a big crater.

Besides its location on the temperate zone of the Equator,the mountains upper section is characterised by permanent ice hanging from the terminal Morain on the different parts of the main peaks .The mountain have a wide range of flora and fauna with a systematic distribution from the Savanna level to the high elevation zones.

The twin peaks Batian (5199m) and Nelion (5188m) provides solid rocks that can be climbed during the summer time periods.Both climbs happens to be challenging but can well be climbed by experienced rock climbers and alpine guides with logistic assistance from our trained rock climbing guides.Ice climbs can be done on the diamond couilor and ice window.For the hikers and trekkers as well as real mountaineers looking for beauty and solid rock climbing ,then mount Kenya got what it takes that any other mountain in the universe have to offer.Ice climbing can also be done from the south west face a long the diamond couilor and the ice window.Its also a good test and an acclamatization step for mt kilimanjaro.
