Leave Nairobi City at 0630hrs and drive 2hrs west via the kikuyu highlands.Drop the meadering road into the spectacular great rift valley.You will stop for a breath taking moment to take advantage of the good panoramic view of the escarpment and rolling hills.

Continue the drive to the floor of the valley while enjoying the amazing countryside.Arrive in Nakuru National Park well known as a world's birds sanctuary.There are plenty of birds' species while the lake shore is dominated by the lesser Flamingoes and the pink pelicans giving an impression of a pink lake.
Other animal fraternity are in abundance as you take on the systematic drive ways around the park.Herds of buffaloes ,zebras,impalas,white Rhinos,Lions as well as the unique rothchild Giraffe reaching for the high nutritious leaves of the many scattered Yellow barked Acacia Trees.Please take caution of the Naughty Baboon at the Cliff elevation that is the Lake  Over view.
After a full cirquit of the lakeside drive exit this wonderful salted lake to head back to Nairobi.Arrive early evening.
